Tuesday, 8 September: TX, SBL and FFM
Taxation, Strategic Business Leader and Foundations in Financial Management run on Tuesday. SBL candidates should treat Monday evening as a light review day rather than a cramming day, since SBL rewards structured thinking over last-minute memorisation.
Wednesday, 9 September: PM, APM, ATX and FAU
Performance Management, Advanced Performance Management, Advanced Taxation and Foundations in Audit all sit on Wednesday. One planning detail worth knowing well before exam week: APM and ATX are scheduled on the same day, so candidates cannot sit both of these Strategic Professional options in the same session.
Thursday, 10 September: FR, SBR, DipIFR and RSA
Financial Reporting, Strategic Business Reporting, the Diploma in IFRS and Recording Financial Transactions fall on Thursday. If you are sitting both FR and SBR across different sessions, Thursday’s timetable is a useful anchor for planning your study calendar months ahead.
Friday, 11 September: FM, LW and AFM
Financial Management, Corporate and Business Law and Advanced Financial Management close out the week. AFM and FM candidates sitting on the same Friday should plan their Thursday evening around rest, not revision, since back-to-back exam days on the final stretch of the week increase fatigue.

Arrival and Late Entry Rules

If you are running late, ACCA allows entry up to one hour after the exam has started, but you will not receive any extra time to make up for it. Arrive more than one hour late and you will be marked absent for that paper, so treat your travel time on exam day as non-negotiable.

Complete Your System Test Early
ACCA requires a mandatory system test before you sit a remote session exam, and it should be completed on the same device, in the same room and on the same internet connection you plan to use on exam day. If the test flags an issue with your webcam, microphone or internet stability, you want that information with enough time left to fix it, not thirty minutes before your paper starts.

During the Exam
You will be viewed on screen by an invigilator for the full duration of the exam. Scrap paper is not provided for remote sessions, so rough workings are done on the digital scratchpad built into the exam platform. It is worth practising with the scratchpad on ACCA’s CBE practice platform beforehand so it does not feel unfamiliar on the day itself. Keep your phone nearby but do not use it for anything other than contact from your invigilator if a technical issue comes up, since using it for any other purpose during the exam is treated as misconduct.

The Night Before
Resist the urge to open a new topic the night before your exam. At this stage, revision should mean reviewing summary notes, formulas and key definitions you already know, not learning something for the first time. Pack your bag or set up your remote exam room, confirm your start time in the Exam Planner, and aim to sleep at a normal hour rather than pulling a late night.
The Morning Of
Eat something before you sit down, even if you do not feel hungry, since low energy partway through a three-hour exam is a common and avoidable problem. Log in to myACCA or arrive at your centre with enough buffer time that a small delay, like traffic or a slow login screen, does not turn into a panic. Read each question fully before you start writing, and check the exam version in front of you matches what you expect before the clock starts.

Once your paper is done, September 2026 session results are released on 19 October 2026. If you believe ACCA did not follow its own results procedures for your paper, the deadline to request an administrative review is 28 October 2026, though this checks process rather than re-marking your script.
